A guide through Trbovlje

The region, trying hard to become a part of modern economic currents, used to be the strongest coal-mining and industrial area in Slovenia. Numerous cultural and historical monuments and also partly polluted and degraded landscape are the remainders of those times. We would like to share our cultural heritage with you. Our cultural and natural heritage can be seen on a 5 km long, partly circular route, where you can see the heritage and also feel the pulse of the coal-mining landscape. The route also offers you numerous opportunities to take a sip of home-made coffee, grab a snack or to observe the city's life.
